Hello Brothers and Sisters!
I am TJ Peterson. I was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada (that's where the sin city comes from). I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or in other words, a Mormon (that's where the saint comes from).
I am up in Reno Nevada right now studying at Truckee Meadows Community College. I have just started my way to getting my Associates Degree in Fire Science. That's right! I am going to be a Firefighter. I played football, soccer, tennis, baseball, karate, and basketball all before middle school. When I entered middle school, I fell in love with lacrosse. I played lacrosse for five years throughout middle school and high school. I am also starting to get into coaching High School Lacrosse. I am an athlete, a nerd, a starting poet, a starting artist, and a starting writer. I was born and raised in the LDS Church. Both my parents and grandparents, with the exception of my grandma who was baptized, were born in the church. I had my own conversion story when I was 16 years old. If you are lucky and I feel prompted to, maybe I'll share it with you. I also served a mission in South Dakota.
This blog will be a religious christian blog. I am going to try to post every Sunday, a talk. Throughout the week, I may post pictures I have drawn, poems I have written, and thinks that I feel prompted to write on throughout the week. That wont be as punctual as the Sunday talks will be. This will be my first blog, and I started it to help me keep my writing up, as well as my religious strength up as well. I hope this blog can be a beacon of light for all, as well as a tool for people with questions to find answers too.
Finally, A disclaimer. I am a human being, I am not perfect. I may say the wrong thing, and I may offend others. I am very strong in my belief and I may talk about some controversial issues. I want everyone to know I mean no disrespect to people and their beliefs, I am just sharing mine. I do not represent the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Thank you
